We've been here in Palm Desert since 1982, and there's only one reason we've been here for so long... It's because we're trusted to sell only the best, amazing, quality fireplaces, BBQ Grills, Islands and Space Heaters to you, our neighbors.  We are commonly called "The Place For Fire", as we sell things that are hot!  We're also called "The Original Fire Supplier" because we were the 1st business like ours here in the Desert.
The company was started in 1982 by the Householder's, and then purchased in 2008 by the Hilden's. In 2010, we purchased the business and moved it to the Highway 111 location. We scaled it down from 4,000 sq. ft. to almost 1/4 the size, as we didn't want to build in 'rent' to every product like our competitors do.  A small, nicely done showroom means you get good pricing, and a large showroom means somebody is paying for that space, and most likely, it's you. :)  NOW, in 2025, we've teamed up with our sister store (All Valley Backyard) and moved in with them! No rent, easy pricing, and expert advice. And while all our competitors have to add several hundred dollars to each deal just to pay employees and utilities and rent, we do not. There's NO commissioned salespeople here - just a great experience with realistic pricing!
